Our Role | January 2020 – April 2020
We helped Sparpweed bring their co-op indie darling ibb & obb to the Nintendo Switch. Game Drive offered marketing advice and figured out a strategy to bring the 2014 title to Nintendo Switch in 2020, as well sharing our experience with various distribution partners to ensure a smooth release on the Nintendo eShop.
For the launch itself we handled the PR campaign, which was a great success that saw 10 metacritic approved press outlets review the game. The game was also covered by several YouTubers and influencers. It just goes to show that even a new platform release can get plenty of positive coverage with the right marketing strategy!
